The RS451 is HiFi ROSE's next-generation network streamer, integrating the brand's advanced digital audio technologies. It inherits the high-performance architecture of the flagship RS151, while offering practical usability and space efficiency optimized for desktop audio setups.
Equipped with a high-performance ES9027PRO DAC, the RS451 applies separate DAC circuits for both pre-out and headphone output, delivering refined, high-end sound tailored to each listening environment. The pre-out section is designed with precision DAC circuitry to integrate seamlessly into high-end audio systems, while the dedicated headphone DAC is paired with four high-performance amplifiers to achieve precise impedance matching, low noise, and powerful driving performance.

On the left side, three headphone outputs are intuitively arranged: 4.4mm balanced, 6.35mm, and XLR unbalanced. This offers excellent connectivity and ease of use. 8" High-Resolution Touchscreen
The RS451 is equipped with an LCD touchscreen that delivers an intuitive and seamless user experience. Its 8.8-inch display with a high resolution of 1920 x 480 offers a wider screen and superior visibility compared to other products in its class, ensuring exceptional ease of operation. ROSE DPC (Digital Processing Core)™ Module
The ROSE DPC™ module is applied to the RS451's digital stage, minimizing jitter and maximizing signal quality by precisely synchronizing input signals with a highly precise Femto clock and aligning them as I2S signals. All processing blocks within this module are designed to maintain the highest level of signal accuracy. Additionally, the circuit for the user interface and GUI configuration is completely isolated from the digital audio signal path, thoroughly eliminating signal distortion and interference. Through this design, the RS151 guarantees accurate signal processing, natural and clean sound, and seamless compatibility with various digital formats.
ROSE NRA (Noise Reduction Analog)™ Filter
The analog stage features the ROSE NRA™ filter, designed to eliminate noise and enable flat frequency characteristics even at extremely low frequency ranges. With this innovation, the RS451 boasts a fixed frequency response across the entire range without roll-off, faithfully and clearly reproducing the original sound information embedded in high-resolution audio sources.
Advanced DAC Architecture
The ES9027PRO used in the RS451 is a high-end 32-bit, 8-channel DAC chip designed with ESS's HyperStream® architecture, delivering precise performance optimized for Hi-Fi audio applications. It offers an impressive dynamic range of up to +124dB and a THD+N of 114dB, enabling delicate and clean sound reproduction. Supporting PCM up to 768kHz and DSD512, it ensures perfect compatibility with high-resolution audio formats. With seven built-in digital filters, users can fine-tune the sound signature to match their preferences. In the RS451, the DAC's eight channels are configured in a 4-channel parallel structure for stereo output, achieving even greater dynamic range and ultra-low noise performance.
USB DAC Performance & Stability
The RS451 is equipped with a USB Audio Class 2.0 interface designed to reliably receive high-resolution audio signals from external sources without loss. It supports up to 32-bit / 768kHz PCM and native DSD512, and adopts an isochronous transfer mode to minimize latency and significantly improve transmission stability. This design enables top-tier sound quality through USB alone, even without an external DAC, and delivers even greater precision when paired with the RS451's high-performance DAC and DPC™ architecture.
Advanced Headphone Amplifier Architecture
The RS451 is equipped with two ES9027PRO DACS, with one dedicated to the pre-out and the other to the headphone output. This ensures that the analog audio signal paths are completely separated. Each DAC has its own independent power supply and grounding, which effectively blocks interference and minimizes noise, resulting in clean audio output. The high-performance headphone amplifier section consists of four individually driven amplifiers that provide strong and stable output even for low-impedance headphones. The completely isolated power supply design for each channel helps suppress crosstalk, while the ultra-low-noise circuitry maintains linear response across the full frequency range. This design guarantees consistent driving performance under various impedance conditions and delivers outstanding transparency and tonal balance, even when playing high-resolution audio content.
The RS451's headphone amplifier applies four high-output amplifier ICs in a parallel configuration, delivering stable drive capability even with high-impedance headphones exceeding 6000. Its ultra-fast slew rate of 1300V/µs minimizes signal distortion and enables highly responsive performance, accurately reproducing transients and dynamic changes in music. The THD+N remains consistently low across all impedance ranges, demonstrating the RS451's ability to deliver balanced, high-resolution sound with precision and clarity in any headphone environment.
Enhanced Processing with Next-Generation 8-Core CPU
Equipped with the next-generation 8-core CPU, the RK3588, RS451 boasts four times the data processing performance and eight times the graphics performance compared to its predecessor. The DRAM capacity has been doubled from 4GB to 8GB, while the eMMC storage has been expanded from 8GB to 32GB, providing processing speeds more than twice as fast. This enables seamless playback of large audio files and 4K high-resolution videos with HDR, while the media library capacity has tripled, supporting over a million tracks.
Additionally, improved I/O bus performance offers read/write speeds approximately twice as fast as before, allowing for quicker file transfers and faster response times during music playback for a smoother listening experience. The newly integrated Android 12 OS further enhances user convenience and security, providing an intuitive and stable user experience.
Bluetooth Module & Antenna
The RS451 integrates a SIG-certified Bluetooth module and a proprietary antenna, supporting the latest Bluetooth® v5.4 specification. Built on the Qualcomm QCC3083 chipset, this module features a high-performance 24-bit audio interface and aptX codec, delivering high bitrates and exceptional sound quality. It also supports various profiles, including A2DP, AVRCP, and IOPT, ensuring a stable and premium wireless audio experience.
Hi-Res COAXIAL
With the ES9027PRO's significantly enhanced digital signal processing capabilities, the RS451 now officially supports PCM 32bit/384kHz and DSD128 formats via coaxial and AES/EBU inputs.
eARC
The previously supported ARC via HDMI has been upgraded to eARC, allowing uncompressed transmission of high-resolution audio signals at 24bit/192kHz. This enhancement enables the RS151 to deliver even more realistic and high-quality Hi-Fi sound through HDMI, bringing you closer to a true Hi-Fi experience.
Trigger IN/OUT
Through the Trigger IN/OUT ports and a monaural mini jack cable, the RS451 can receive DC signals ranging from 3.3V to 12V to automatically power on the device or output a 12V signal to control the power of external audio equipment. This allows for efficient power management of your audio system, enabling centralized control without the need to manually operate each device individually.
IR Remote Control
Replacing the previous Bluetooth-based control, the RS451 now features an IR remote receiver. With less restrictions on range and angle and no need for pairing, the IR remote offers stable, intuitive control and enhanced user convenience.
Circuit Breaker
The RS451 includes a circuit breaker as a safety feature to protect against overloads and short circuits.
Unlike standard fuses, the circuit breaker minimizes current loss and signal distortion with its wide metal contacts, enabling accurate reproduction of dynamic bass and clear treble in high-resolution audio, ensuring superior sound quality.
Το DSD512 Upsampling
The RS451 offers the ability to convert PCM audio to DSD and upscale it to a maximum of DSD512 using the ROSE DPC™ module. This allows users to enjoy various PCM audio sources with the rich, unique sound characteristics of DSD. The high-resolution upsampling preserves the fine details of the original source while enriching the sound with depth and clarity tailored to user preferences.
