Equipped with the new amplified feedback engine "LIFES" and the latest evolution version of our unique electronically controlled attenuator "LECUA-EX" developed to support Luxman's new century. The fully balanced configuration circuit, which uses both technologies that are directly connected in a three-dimensional structure, has achieved infinite silence, overwhelming instantaneous power, and a sense of realism.

ODNF* is a unique feedback method that has been matured over time as an innovative amplification circuit that can provide natural sound quality similar to a non-feedback amplifier by feeding back only the distortion components of the amplified signal. In 2021, when developing the flagship power amplifier M-10X, Luxman completed LIFES* as a new amplification feedback engine to achieve even more realistic, fresh and rich musicality and overwhelming audio performance. Now, it has been installed in the flagship model C-10X, which is the first model change in 10 years. The volume control section has a refined electronically controlled attenuator LECUA that switches fixed resistors neatly arranged on the board. Equipped with LECUA-EX*, which reads the rotational pulses of a rotary encoder separated from the audio circuit, thoroughly suppresses sound quality deterioration and enables smooth volume adjustment. The LIFES preamplifier circuit, which is assembled from discrete components, is directly connected to the LECUA-EX, and the four units are laid out in a fully balanced configuration under exactly the same conditions. We have achieved the ideal structure as a preamplifier.
A variety of control functions for controlling the audio system
As a flagship model that stands at the top of the lineup, the C-10X not only has a high-performance preamplifier circuit that powerfully drives the power amplifier connected to the next stage, but also has a rich array of functions as a control center that adjusts the environment of the entire audio system. It has functions. The preamplifier gain has been increased to 15dB (previous model C-900u had 12dB), allowing accurate handling of a wide range of volume from various input sound sources without distortion. In addition to a variety of output mode switching functions that allow you to select unbalanced, balanced, or bi-amplified depending on your system, you can also use the volume shift function in 0.5dB steps using the electronically controlled attenuator LECUA-EX installed as the main volume. This allows you to adjust the left and right balance (L: -6dB to R: -6dB) without causing sound quality deterioration, adjust the level for each output system in bi-amp mode (±6dB for each system), and newly adjust the output level at different levels. It is also equipped with an input offset function (0 to -6 dB for each input terminal) that allows you to align the levels of multiple input devices, achieving a wide variety of control functions despite the simple circuit configuration.
Beautiful contrast panel configuration
A bold and delicate "constriction" is expressed between the extremely thick front panel with large slanted edges and the bonnet. The three-dimensional and sensual housing design that is common to both the M-10X and D-10X embodies the overwhelming presence and high musicality of a flagship model. The carefully machined aluminum top panel with a fine hairline finish creates a beautiful contrast with the blaster white front panel.
FL display with excellent visibility
The highly visible FL display with dimmer function that stands out on the blaster white front panel normally displays two levels of input and volume, but the volume level can be zoomed to four times the size by operating the remote control. We have also taken into consideration the ease of viewing when listening at a distance from the main unit. Additionally, the status of various function switches can be checked with LED indicators inside the acrylic panel.
Rich functions and easy-to-operate remote control
The C-10X features an electronically controlled bass/treble tone control, a volume-linked loudness that matches the human hearing characteristics, an external pre-input terminal that can directly connect the pre-output of an AV amplifier, etc. A balanced connection phase preset function that can be set independently is provided. Also included is an aluminum remote control that allows you to comfortably operate most of the C-10X's functions at your fingertips.
Newly developed weight rotation mechanism
Volume adjustment using the LECUA-EX combines a high-precision rotary encoder and a newly developed weight rotation mechanism, achieving high reliability and a high-quality operation feeling with a large knob made from machined aluminum. With 192 detailed steps from 0 to 95.5 dB and a setting that smoothly accelerates the volume increase/decrease by adjusting the rotation speed of the knob or by holding down the remote control, you can enjoy a comfortable volume that exceeds that of conventional volume control devices using variable resistors. Allows adjustment.
High inertia power supply circuit
In order to embody the idea of a power amplifier driver that accurately drives the power amplifier connected to the next stage with sufficient margin, the power supply section of the C-10X is equipped with a powerful CI core type power transformer and a custom specification 3,300μF × A unique high-inertia power supply circuit is constructed by combining seven large-capacity block capacitors. Achieved a clean and stable power supply that suppresses voltage fluctuations due to load.
100μm thick round pattern board
All audio circuits of the C-10X use a 100μm thick resistless gold-plated peel-coated board, which eliminates resist coating that adversely affects sound quality due to dielectric effects. In addition, the original round pattern wiring, which maintains the pattern width of the signal line as constant as possible and draws smooth curves to achieve smooth and stress-free signal transmission, is also an original know-how of Luxman in pursuit of high sound quality.
High quality components
For the capacitors and resistors that the audio signal passes through, we have used a large number of custom parts that prioritize sound quality. Original OFC wire is used for internal wiring. The input/output on the back of the product is equipped with a 27mm pitch high-rigidity RCA terminal, a high-quality Neutrik XLR terminal, and a gold-plated AC inlet. The high sound quality has been carefully crafted.
Vibration countermeasures and loopless chassis
The housing uses a highly rigid loopless chassis structure that eliminates ground loops and isolates the rise in ground impedance caused by chassis current and the effects of magnetic fields. The bottom part is equipped with gradation cast iron insulator legs that firmly support the main unit and protect delicate music signals from vibrations, in order to suppress external vibrations transmitted from the ground surface and unnecessary vibrations generated by the unit itself.
