Fully balanced
The newly developed Class D amplification circuit uses multiple novel optimisation techniques to fully push the performance and output power to the maximum. The new circuit provides crisp, clean and deep sound with completely inaudible noise floor. The fully balanced structure of the PA5 means no more hum, noise or ground loop problems.
Distortion as outstanding as a DAC
The distortion of the PA5 is as low as that of a DAC - <0.0005% at 4ohm, 5W and <0.0004% at 8ohm, 5W. Even in the vicinity of the commonly used 20W, the PA5 can achieve 0.0003% THD+N under an 8ohm load.
High output power
The PA5 could output 140W x 2 at 4ohm load, 10% THD+N. In higher standard of THD+N of 1%, output power will be 125W x 2 at 4ohm load. The high output power and low distortion on load are sufficient for most speakers and applications.
Zero pop noise or thumping during turning on and off, and complete with over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit, over-current and over-heat protection.
E50 is the best DAC for the PA5
The PA5 and E50 have fully matched design language and styles, and signals can transmit in balance by TRS.
The fully functional combination - PA5 + E50 + L50
When you need a more comprehensive system, we recommend a combination of the PA5 power amplifier, the E50 DAC and the L50 headphone amplfier. This combination provides corresponding equipment from the digital audio source to driving speakers and headphones.
D10 Balanced could be the best USB DAC for the PA5
D10 Balanced can provide high-fidelity USB decoding and TRS balanced output. When used with the PA5, it is equivalent to adding a high-performance USB input to the PA5. This combination is simple and efficient.
